“It was my first real exposure to the energy sector,” he recalls. “I learned how to turn data into actionable recommendations.” This experience laid a strong analytical foundation for the rest of his career.

Embracing international mobility
After completing a master’s degree, Anlimou joined ENGIE Romania as a V.I.E. Market Analyst. “Starting a new chapter in Romania through the V.I.E. program was an exciting challenge,” he says. “It was my first international experience, and it helped me grow in ways I hadn’t imagined.”

He also helped design a risk framework for battery energy storage systems (BESS), pushing ENGIE Romania into new territory.
